Kivari

Story

Kivari was founded in Australia in 2014 by Kristin Keysers. Kivari is a meeting of two entities: KIreferences the founder’s nickname, Kiki and ‘VARI’ meaning by the water. The collection is inspired by Kiki's passion for adventurous travel and connection to the ocean. Kivari's mission is to consciously create beautiful pieces, always progressing towards sustainability, circularity, inclusivity, and transparency.

Production

Kivari partners exclusively with factories that are audited by internationally recognized social compliance standards such as SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit. These independent third parties ensure that labor practices comply with workers’ rights, including wages, health and safety, discrimination, freedom of association, and child labor. Kivari prioritizes close working relationships with the factories in China that they partner with, and value full transparency in all aspect of their operations to ensure only the most responsible and sustainable business practices are used.

Kivari sees sustainability as an opportunity instead of a challenge, and strives to make every process is as responsible as possible, from the design process to the materials used to their supply chain and packaging.
