Story

Retrofête was founded in 2018 in New York by husbands Ohad Seroya and Aviad Klin. Born and raised in Israel, Ohad Seroya spent much of his professional career surrounded by fashion and worked in many aspects of the industry from buying to showroom management. After moving to the US and spending years helping various brands grow, the duo recognized a gap in the market. Klin pushed for them to create a brand of their own DNA, which quickly led to the inception of Retrofête. Driven by the desire to create statement pieces, the brand is known for designing emotional and opulent ready-to-wear looks that make women feel confident, sexy, and radiant. A nod to the glamour and exuberance of decades past, the the name comes from a melding of synonyms for “vintage” and “party.” Enlivened with “more-is-more” energy, Retrofête blurs the line between day and night, creating a life-of-the-party aesthetic within each design.

Production

Retrofête partners with factories in India and China. The most special, intricate pieces are handmade.
