Story

Freya Rose was founded in London in 2010 by designer Freya Rose Archer with the support from The King's Trust. Freya Rose’s philosophy is to create unique, timeless collections with ethical integrity. Freya grew up immersed in the world of fine jewelry and studied footwear design at the London College of Fashion. While traveling in Indonesia, Freya was first inspired by region's decorative use of mother of pearl within jewelry, and this lead to her innovative development of iconic jeweled pearl heels. Freya reimagines indigenous techniques to create contemporary designs that showcase the artistry of their makers. Freya Rose's pieces are wearable works of art.
Production

Freya Rose's collection is made by skilled artisans in Bali and Spain. Freya personally visits their makers to nurture a close relationship with each artisan.

Freya Rose has worked alongside their talented artisan shoe couturiers in Spain and jewelers in Bali for over 14 years, celebrating their unique, indigenous techniques. Freya Rose locally sources Mother of Pearl, a natural by-product, and ensures that all materials are ethically obtained. Their designs are timeless; quality handcrafted pieces, an investment, made to last. Promoting circularity, Freya Rose offers repair and recycling services alongside rental collaborations to extend the life of their accessories. They minimize waste by using small production lines and working with eco-conscious partners.
